المصطلحات الأساسية
1- التعلم عبر الانترنت: التعلم عبر الانترنت ومصطلح لوصف منهجيه حديثه في التعلم في موقع سكن المتعلمين من خلال تقنيات الاتصالات والمعلومات المتقدمه (مثل Blackboard – Moodle – YouTube – وتقنية الواقع الإفتراضي) إما بشكل متزامن أو غير متزامن (كيه سي سي يانج و واي كانج، 2001)
Online Learning is term to describe an emerging approach to learn at students’ own premise through advanced information-communication technologies (such as Blackboard, Moodle, YouTube, Virtual Reality) either asynchronously or synchronously. (KCC Yang, Y Kang, 2020)
2- التعلم النشط: التعلم النشط هو عمليه ديناميكيه تحدث خلال العمليه التعليميه يشارك فيها الطالب بشكل نشط تحت اشراف وتوجيه المعلم (شارون ومارثا، 2001)
Active learning is a dynamic action; occurring during the educational process, the student must actively participate under the supervision and direction of the teacher (Sharon, and Martha 2001
3- المشرف/ المنسق الالكتروني: هو الشخص الذي يقوم بتعزيز التفاعل والتواصل البشري من خلال نمذجه ونقل وبناء المعرفه والمهارات (جيللي سالمون، 2000)
E-moderator: The essential role of the e-moderator is promoting human interaction and communication through the modelling, conveying and building of knowledge and skills – a term first introduced by (Gilly Salmon, 2000).
4- نموذج مجتمع الاستقصاء COI: هو نموذج يصف عمليه التعلم التي تحدث لمجموعه من المتعلمين من خلال تجربه تعليميه يتم فيها تفاعل ثلاثه أركان رئيسيه وهي الحضور الاجتماعي والحضور المعرفي والحضور التعليمي

5- التعلم الالكتروني المتزامن: يشير الى التعلم الذي يحدث في نفس الوقت الذي يتواجد فيه المعلم والمتعلم معا عبر الانترنت والذي من أمثلته الفصول الافتراضيه وجلسات التدريب والندوات التي تدار من خلال منصه تعلم عبر الانترنت
Synchronous E-learning refers to real-time online learning and it’s best exemplified by online classes, training sessions, and webinars taught through an online platform.
6- التعلم الالكتروني غير المتزامن: يشير الى التعلم الذي يقوم به المتعلم بمفرده ووفقا لمعدل الانجاز المناسب له وهو غالبا ما يشير الى التفاعلات بين المعلم والطالب التي تحدث في اوقات مختلفه ومواقع مختلفه
Asynchronous E-learning is the type of learning you do alone and at your own pace. Asynchronous learning most frequently refers to teacher and student interactions that occur at different times and different locations.
